Refund policy

Nordhaus Home is operated by Averio LLC. Here's exactly how returns work, in plain words.

The short version

Damaged, defective, wrong item or missing parts: we fix it free (replacement part, new unit or full refund). Tell us within 7 days of delivery.
Changed your mind: return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. You pay the return shipping. No restocking fee.

Damaged, defective or wrong item

Email support@nordhaushome.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and the box. We'll send a replacement part, a replacement unit, or a full refund. In most cases you won't need to send anything back. If we do need it back, we pay the return shipping.

Changed your mind

Request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, unassembled where possible, and in the original packaging with all parts and hardware.
Return shipping is paid by you. Furniture is large and heavy, so this can be significant. We'll tell you the cost before you ship, so there are no surprises.
No restocking fee. You get a full refund of the item price.
Shipping to you was free, so nothing is deducted for it.

How to start a return

Email support@nordhaushome.com or use our Contact page with your order number and the reason. Please don't send items back before we reply. We'll give you the correct return address and instructions. Items sent without authorization may not be refunded.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and is checked, we'll email you and refund your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank may take a few extra days to show it.

Cancellations

You can cancel free of charge any time before your order ships.

Exceptions

We can't accept change-of-mind returns of items that have been assembled and used, or damaged through misuse, overloading or improper assembly. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer law.
